At Manningham Housing Association (MHA), giving back to the community is an essential part of who we are. Every year, we select a charity to support through fundraising events and internal initiatives. This year, we were proud to raise funds for Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice, a charity that provides essential care for children with life-shortening conditions and offers vital support to their families.
Our fundraising efforts were woven into the fabric of our workplace culture, with a series of events designed to encourage participation and generosity. From internal promotions to exciting prize draws, our team stepped up to make a meaningful impact. One of the most popular initiatives was our staff raffle, where employees had the chance to win an extra day off, making fundraising both rewarding and fun.
We were honoured to welcome Sarah from Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice, who visited our office to receive the donation on behalf of the charity. Her visit was a powerful reminder of the impact our collective efforts can have in supporting children and families facing incredibly challenging circumstances.
At MHA, we recognise the importance of well-being, employee engagement, and community impact, and this initiative perfectly aligns with our values. Whether through our rewards and benefits programs or our commitment to supporting local charities, we strive to create a culture where both our employees and the wider community can thrive.
We are incredibly proud of our team’s generosity and dedication. If you would like to learn more about Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice or make a personal contribution, you can visit their website at https://www.forgetmenotchild.co.uk/.
