We are proud to announce that Manningham Housing Association (MHA) has signed the Mindful Employer Charter for Employers Positive about Mental Health, a UK-wide initiative run by Devon Partnership NHS Trust.
By signing the Charter, MHA has made a public commitment to supporting the mental health and well-being of our staff. The Charter helps employers to:
-
Foster a workplace culture that values mental health as much as physical health.
-
Reduce stigma and raise awareness around mental health.
-
Provide managers and teams with resources and good practice guidance.
-
Encourage openness and create an environment where staff feel supported.
This step builds on the support already available at MHA through our trained Mental Health First Aiders – Nazia Bibi and Mohammad Azad – who provide confidential support and guidance to colleagues when needed.
Our Chief Executive, Lee Bloomfield said:
“Signing the Mindful Employer Charter is another important milestone in our commitment to staff wellbeing. Our people are our greatest strength, and ensuring they have the right support in place is vital to building a positive and thriving workplace culture.”
We look forward to working with the Mindful Employer network, accessing valuable toolkits and resources, and continuing to strengthen our approach to mental health and wellbeing.
