MHA partners and resident meet Duke and Duchess

A representative from our local community partner, Hollings Youth Association Project, and a resident of MHA who volunteers for the project, met the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge when they visited Bradford in January.

Tausif Mohammed was amongst a number of other representatives from local groups that met the Royal Couple at the Bradford Khidmat Centre, which is committed to helping vulnerable members of the community, particularly those from minority ethnic backgrounds.

While they were there, they were given a cake depicting key moments in their life through pictures, and Kate chatted with some ladies who had crocheted gifts for her children, Princes George and Louis and Princess Charlotte.

Tausif said, “We were very excited to meet the royal Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. The royals were very lovely people and I had a good conversation with them. They praised all the good work that was taking place in Bradford.”
