Darren Watson, Maintenance Surveyor

Darren joined Manningham Housing Association in 2026 as a Planned Works Surveyor. He originally trained as a bricklayer and began working in social housing in 2001. Over the past 25 years, he has worked for a range of organisations, including Bradford Council, Leeds City Council, Accent Group, Habinteg, Vico Homes and Progress Housing.

Throughout his career, he has held a variety of roles within social housing, ranging from Clerk of Works to Planned Investment Manager. This has given him extensive experience and a strong understanding of planned investment, property maintenance and housing services
