Michelle Anderson-Dore, MA, Co-optee

Michelle has extensive social housing and local government expertise spanning over 35 years. In her executive career, most recently as a Head of Housing Management until her retirement in 2024, Michelle oversaw the delivery of customer-centric and housing management services for 22,000 council homes, led 300 staff and managed a £100 million annual rent roll. She has a proven track record of elevating consumer standards, driving large-scale digital transformation, and ensuring compliance with the Social Housing Regulation Act and the Housing Ombudsman Complaints Handling Code.
Complementing her strategic and leadership strengths, Michelle has significant prior governance experience as a Non-Executive Director and committee chair in the social housing sector. Michelle remains passionate about championing the tenant voice and the advancement of equality, diversity and inclusion for local and seldom-heard communities.

Michelle is not a Board Member but is a Co-optee to the Customer Experience Committee.
