We wanted to let you know about some important improvements we are making to our office.
Our current office building is old (Grade II) and now needs essential work so that we can continue to provide you with a safe, welcoming and modern space and also to make necessary changes to keep the building in good condition and to support the services you rely on.
Office closure – 18 December
On 18 December, our office will be closed all day while we move out.
• There will be no face-to-face appointments on this day.
• Calls to our main phone number will be automatically forwarded to our out-of-hours service, so if you need us urgently, you can still get help.
Christmas and New Year closure: Our office will also be closed from 12 noon on Wednesday, 24 December 2025 and will reopen at 9 am on Friday, 2 January 2026. During this period, all calls and services will be diverted to our out-of-hours and emergency services – please use the usual main phone number if you need assistance.
Temporary office – Anchor Court BD8 8JF
From the day after our move, we will be working from a temporary office at Anchor Court, BD8 8JF, while the refurbishment takes place.
The temporary office will be available by appointment only. If you need to see someone in person, please contact us first so we can arrange a suitable time.

No change to your services
The refurbishment is expected to last until summer 2026. During this time, you can continue to contact us in all the usual ways:

• Via our chatbot, which is available online
We want to reassure you that there will be no impact on our normal services. Repairs, enquiries, and support will continue as usual – the main difference is that our staff will be based in a different building while we carry out this essential work.
We are investing in our office so that, when we return, we can welcome you back to a safer, more accessible and more efficient space that helps us serve you better for many years to come.
