Customer Panel & Tenant Consultation

Residents – Your opportunity to get involved!

We value resident involvement in our service delivery and encourage our tenants to get involved. Our Customer Panel is an open meeting to all tenants of Manningham Housing Association.

We hold four meetings per year for our tenants; details of forthcoming meetings are communicated via text message, information about forthcoming meetings can be read on this page and previous Customer Panel reports, agendas and presentations can also be read on this page.

We like to encourage all our tenants to attend a Panel meeting, as tenants that attend represent the views of our customers and other residents in their neighbourhoods.

If you decided, you would like to attend our Customer Panel meeting(s) your role during the meeting is to:

  • To promote involvement and engagement between the Association and our tenants.
  • Contribute ideas for future tenant events.
  • Contribute ideas for our Feedback magazine and for other tenant engagement activities.
  • Be the voice of our tenants and your neighbourhood.
  • Approve applications made for the Community Involvement Grant (CIG).
  • Feedback on current and new policies that are due for review by our tenants.
  • Feedback on presentations during the meeting; positively contributing to the tenant landlord relationship.
  • An opportunity to get involved in scrutiny projects via the Tenant Scrutiny Forum
  • Feedback on training and employability assistance needs, which MHA may be able to assist with.

Forthcoming Meeting

The Next Customer Panel will be held June 2026, watch this space for further details!

Tenant Scrutiny Forum

Tenant Scrutiny Forum consist of tenants that have volunteered to scrutinise a topic that is relevant and current to our tenants and the Association.

What is scrutiny?

Scrutiny is where residents get to take a closer look at how Manningham Housing Association is doing things, to check it’s fair, working well, and doing the right thing.

For example, projects could include:

  • Looking at how repairs are handled
  • Checking if complaints are dealt with properly
  • Asking questions about decisions that affect residents

In short, it’s about residents helping to hold Manningham Housing Association accountable and improve services. Read our latest Damp & Mould Tenant Scrutiny Report

The next topic for scrutiny is ‘Anti-Social Behaviour’.

If you would like to be a part of the Scrutiny Forum, please contact our Customer Involvement and Tenant Engagement officer at [email protected].

Alongside our scrutiny projects, the forum will also review a number of complaints that have been dealt with by the Association and ensure learnings are identified and acted upon.  This was previously being done by a separate Complaints Learning Forum which has been included within the remit of the Tenant Scrutiny Forum.
